Yesterday, Monday the 18th, a typhoon hit the Philippines. It was known as Typhoon Megi. Since the typhoon, there have been 11 reported deaths. Four of these deaths have been in the province of Pakistan, where three were killed by trees and one by storm lightning, That's not just all. Three more died in a storm surge in Isabela province, and one person drowned while trying to cross a river in Nueva Ecija province. The typhoon has been on a rampage with four others as well. Earlier today, Megi carried  winds of about 104 mph off the coast of the Philippines in the South China Sea. The areas the typhoon have affected are still vulnerable to mudslides and landslides. It's very possible that the typhoon can reach Hong Kong and mainland China in the next few days.
