miners rescue

      Sixty-eightdays days after the tragic explosion that trapped the miners the rescue begins. Today the first escape pod was sent down to the thirty-three trapt miners. The goal is to have one miner on the surface at the end of today. The escpae pod can travel at two speeds,.7 and 3 meters per second. Though the 3 meters per second speed will only be used for an emergancy.
       the mine  collapsed aug. 5th and for the 18 days after that the miners did not have any food or water.On the 18th day 4-in boreholes were drilled to send them food and other neccesities. when this is all said and done the miners trapt below Earth will have been down there for about 1700 hours.
